We had an awesome day today. We left Gillette, WY at 10:30 this morning, after family worship, and arrived here in Bozeman, MT by 10 PM, after a long drive through God’s beautiful creation. We’re staying in the Lewis and Clark Motel and should be on our way to Thompson Falls, MT in the morning.
We spent four wonderful hours touring the southern part of Yellowstone and the drive from Cody to the Park was no less enjoyable. We were all oohing and aahing the whole way and had nearly every device in the car clicking pictures and taking videos. When we were riding through the Park Forrest wanted to ride seated on the window sill of the door–to which request I said no! (although I did let him stick his head out of the sun roof several times for some great shots and videos).
All in all it was a great day and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I know we took several hundred pictures between us! One of the highlights was being able to see Old Faithful. When we passed through 15 years ago we’d just missed it and didn’t have the time to stand around and wait for the next burst. It was great to see it this time with all the kids. It’s too late to write anymore so I’ll include a few pictures and sign off.
Thanks to you all for you following us and praying for us. We truly appreciate the support and encouragement. It’s so much fun having you a part of all this. We love you all and pray for you regularly.
I’ve been so thankful to the Lord that the kids have traveled together so peacefully. The Sub is a big vehicle but when you fill every seat, there’s no real room to stretch out and move around. The quarters really are tight. But the kids have all gotten along pretty well and they’ve been good about taking turns with the different seats. I’ve done most of the driving but Chantry, Forrest, Schylie, and Terra have all chipped in some as well. Please continue to pray for our family dynamic, that we’ll be a blessing to each other and work together to make this a truly great memory and a most blessed time of refreshment. God bless you.
